Designers have to evaluate their time so that we can get payed, but I've learned it is significantly harder to quantify your creative toll. Sometimes you have a project that you just can't get right, and it ends up costing you in ways that you can't bill the client for. This was one of those projects.

The Art of Beer was a simple poster project, but it resulted in more iterations and side roads than any other project. Out of the near hundred posters I crafted, I have selected these five and the final to display.

I want to show this project because it demonstrates that most projects don't end with your favorite piece, but instead with the work best suited for the situation. I have learned that the designer never works alone, more often than not the client is just as invested.
